The Proving Trail

A friend of mine once told me to “leave a trail instead of a wake.” Wakes are big, flashy, and short-lived eye catchers…that don’t go anywhere. Give ‘em a minute and they vanish back to nothing. But leave a trail and you leave something that took hard work, allows others to follow, and heads to places that are worth going…I guess this is part of my experience, proving a trail.
