A Plethora of Sheep

“I myself will search for my sheep.” Ezekial 34:11

In the hunting part of my life, the majority of that time is spent in pursuit of sheep. From scouting on maps, by phone, emails, daydreaming, eves-dropping on conversations, and on-foot hiking in the mountains, to an actual sheep hunt – it’s my passion for Alaska big game hunts. There’s going to be plenty of the full curl pursuits in these stories.

The Proving Trail

A friend of mine once told me to “leave a trail instead of a wake.” Wakes are big, flashy, and short-lived eye catchers…that don’t go anywhere. Give ‘em a minute and they vanish back to nothing. But leave a trail and you leave something that took hard work, allows others to follow, and heads to places that are worth going…I guess this is part of my experience, proving a trail.
